Every job includes the Before You Dig check, spoil removal and making good. Price depends on length, ground and access, so a photo gets you a firm number fastest.

Service trenching

Open trenches for power, water, gas and data. We cut the trench, lay conduit to the depth your electrician or plumber needs, then backfill in the right order with the right material.

Under-driveway boring

When concrete, pavers or a garden bed are in the way, we go under them. Two small pits, one bore between them, and the surface stays exactly where it is.

Length: Up to 30 m
Surface: Left untouched
On site: Half a day to a day

Road and footpath crossings

For new connections that have to cross a footpath or road. The council permit and traffic management are part of the quote, so you deal with one person.

Drainage and stormwater

Ag drains, downpipe runs and soakwells for yards that stay wet after rain. We set the fall properly so the water actually goes somewhere.

Post holes and footings

Augered holes for fence posts, deck stumps, verandahs and retaining walls. Round, straight and to the depth your engineer or builder asked for.

Depth: To 1.5 m, deeper on request
Spoil: Taken away or spread on site

Potholing

Before a bigger dig, we expose the existing services by hand or vacuum so everyone knows exactly where the gas and power sit. You get photos and measured depths.

Sewer and septic connectionsThat’s a licensed plumber’s job. We’ll happily dig the trench for one.
Pools and house slabsWe’re set up for trenches and footings, not bulk excavation.
Deep rock breakingIf we hit solid basalt, we’ll tell you at the site visit before it costs you anything.
